Description:
Required by OFSTED for full day care settings, this two-day course, leading to appointed person status, provides information on the essentials of first aid for the care of children and babies including: the AB, Choking, Bleeding & resuscitation, head injuries, epilepsy, allergic reaction, poisoning and exposure to cold and heat.
Please note: OFSTED do NOT approve first aid training providers and the Pre-School Learning Alliance and NCMA have withdrawn their approval scheme for first aid training. This course meets the OFSTED/DfES & Sure-Start requirements for those working in care settings for the under 8's
Who Should Attend?
All those working in out of school, pre schools, playgroups or full day care settings and caring for the under 8's (meeting OFSTED requirements).
We offer a seperate course for those caring for the 5 to 15's.
