First Aid for School (FAFS) Training Course

This one day course is designed for all those working in schools who need to be able to attend to first aid incidents, including:

Assess and prioritise a first aid incident
Deal with an unconscious casualty
Control bleeding and manage shock
Recognise and deal with a range of common injuries until the arrival of medical care
Maintaining records
Carry out resuscitation (CPR) on adults and children
Using and maintaining first aid kits

Who Should Attend?

Anyone in schools who needs to be able to provide first aid, or has responsibility for the first aid provision

We also offer shorter awareness courses and longer, more in depth courses according to your specific needs

Please note: in order to meet HSE guidance, attendance is limited to 12 delegates per trainer

An optional course text book to accompany the course is available at £3 per person
