First Aid for School (FAFS) Training Course

This one day course is designed for all those working in schools who need to be able to attend to first aid incidents for adults and children, including:

• Assess and prioritise a first aid incident
• Deal with an unconscious casualty
• Control bleeding and manage shock
• Recognise and deal with a range of common injuries until the arrival of medical care
• Maintaining records
• Carry out resuscitation (CPR) for adults and children
• Using and maintaining first aid kits

Who Should Attend?

Anyone in schools who needs to be able to provide first aid, or has responsibility for the first aid provision
